Preparing Students for the Future...NOW!

Welcome! My name is Tamra McCormack and I have been teaching for 14 years. I have taught all 14 years in 2nd grade at B-L Primary School. I have been married to my wonderful husband Brian for 10 years. He is also an educator at Ridge Spring - Monetta High School. Brian and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl in September of 2007.  She is truly our little princess. I grew up in Batesburg-Leesville and graduated from here as well. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education from USC-Aiken and a Master's of Education from Southern Wesleyan University.

As an educator I believe it is my job to teach and nurture these children so that they become the best that they can be. Each student is an individual with individual abilities and it is my duty to bring out the best in each child.

SCHOOL WIDE RULES
: *Be Safe *Be Responsible *Be Respectful

Rewards: Students caught following the rules may get rewarded with verbal praise and/or a PAW coin.  When students receive 15 coins, he/she may choose a prize from the treat basket.  Students may also be awarded stickers and/or stamps for good behavior.  In addition, we have a class compliment chart.  When the whole class receives 15 compliments, they will receive a prize.  As the year goes along, the coin amounts and the compliment amounts that children need to receive will be adjusted.

Consequences:  Warning, Walk 5 or 10 minutes at recess, phone call/note home, or office visit.

I know all students will follow the three rules so that they will be readly to learn, learn, learn and be prepared for 3rd grade!
